~お茶の花のブローチを作ってみませんか？~

長年、多くの種類の麻布を染めてお店の暖簾（のれん）、オリジナルの暖簾・テーブルウェア・袋物・座布団などを製作・販売している宇治の染色工房による体験事業です。
毎回製品を作り終えた後に残る端切れを、もったいない精神で宝物のように大切に保存し、染布を無駄なく生かした麻のアクセサリーなど小物製品も手掛けています。

独特の色彩や柄の表現は、まわりの商品や空間の「調和」「寄り添い」を感じさせ、まさに「文化的景観」そのものです。
年代的に古いとか文化財的価値があるというものだけでなく、宇治らしさをかたちづくる一つとして、注目されています。
今回、一人ひとりの手によって作られた宝物をお茶の花に見立てて、可愛らしい麻のつまみ細工アクセサリーづくり体験を楽しんでいただけます。

~Would you like to make a tea flower brooch? ~

This is a hands-on experience project by a dyeing studio in Uji, which produces and sells store curtains, tableware, and other items dyed from many types of linen.
The scraps left over after the production of a product are carefully preserved as if they were treasures, and the company also produces accessories and other small products using the dyed fabric without wasting any of it.

Visitors can enjoy the experience of making lovely hemp tsumazaiku accessories, using the treasures made by each individual hand as tea flowers.
