~「お点前」・「おもてなし」を知ってみよう！~

普段はなかなか受けられない茶道の先生による抹茶の体験教室です。
先生のお点前をご覧いただいたあと、ご自身で抹茶を点てていただける体験になっております。

宇治市茶道連盟に所属されている先生方が茶道の楽しさ、奥深さをお伝えします。
茶道に興味はあるけれども機会がない方や、敷居が高く感じて挑戦できないという方にも気軽にご参加いただける体験教室です。

お1人様の参加費：￥1,800
小学1年生・7歳以下のお子様は、保護者の同伴（1名まで）が必須となります。
抹茶を点てる際、お湯の使用に問題がない方が対象です。

※立礼式でのお点前体験となります。畳ではなくイス・テーブルを使っての体験となります。

Let's learn about "otemae" and "omotenashi" (hospitality).

This is a rare opportunity to experience matcha (powdered green tea) with a tea ceremony instructor.
After watching a tea ceremony performance by the teacher, you can try your hand at making your own matcha tea.

Teachers who belong to the Uji City Tea Ceremony Federation will show you the joy and depth of the tea ceremony.
This is a class for those who are interested in the tea ceremony but have not had the opportunity to try it, or those who feel it is too difficult for them to try.

Fee per person：￥1,800

This program is for those who have no problem using hot water when making matcha.
